yes.
because u can have time to think and find the best way to ruin the person who ruined u. or u'll just relax and decide that u shouldnt do this because revenge is not a good thing.
and also, if u really hate that person so much to take revenge, if u do it later, u can find the best time that will hurt the person the most.a time when he will never think that u'll be around

Yes certainly. When they say cold, it means you have to commit the revenge without any emotions. You have to be very hard and determined in some way to do it.

There is another meaning behind it... If you want revenge, it is often best to bide your time. If someone for example had slapped your face, your instant reaction may be to slap their face right back. What the saying is telling you, is that it may be better to take some time to think of a better way to get even.

To some extent. But there's also the idea that if you go round looking for revenge it will twist and warp you into something not altogether lovely!

No. I think the best revenge you can have on someone is to be happy, successful, and forget all about them.

Yes. I f you calm down and calculate your next move it is far better than lashing out heatedly and playing all your cards without thought.
I am currently in the process of such a tactic with some sod who keeps deleting my questions. But a cooling-off period is required. It gives you time and space to develop your finest response.
