Jews and Christians, yes...Muslims...definately not. Mohammad was a false prophet described by Jesus himself.

On the surface, yes. But if u read deeper into each of the holy books - the Bible, Koran and Torah - u can see that the God of the Christians/Jews & the god of the Muslims are different. It is
'politically correct' to say yes, they are the same. However, since the people of all these religions cannot agree and have a lot of conflict, it is difficult to say they worship the same God when each side has been at each other's throats throughout the centuries.

Even those who believe they are Christians do not all believe in the same god.

Some believe in a triune god; others, in God the Almighty whose name is Yahweh or Jehovah (Jehovah historically oldest) who has a firstborn son, Christ Jesus.

As far as the Moslem and those of the Jewish faith are concerned, if you say that they believe in the same God as Christians do then wouldn't that necessitate accepting the Christian teachings?

What else does it mean when Christ stated, "Jesus saith unto him—I, am the way, and the truth, and the life: No one, cometh unto the Father, but through me " ?

Either Christ is the way to God or he isn't! You can't have it both ways!

God doesn't teach different opposing things to different people!

Yes their God is described by all as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. That being the God of an obscure nomadic tribe that existed some thousands of years ago chosen by said God to be saved.

To those saying it cant be because of Muhammad - Muhammad is a prophet NOT a God and therefore has nothing to do with theologically and historically which God Allah is.

Definitely yes. The believers of the latter religion understand and believe the previous religions, but the believers of the previous religions do not have the same understanding. The Muslims believe in Christ, the Christians believe in Moses, but the Jews do not accept Christ and the Christians do not accept Muhammad. The reason is that believers of the new religion have the interpretations, while followers of the old one have only the prophecies which are beyond their understanding.
But all revelative religions are evidently from the same God, because the essence of all is the divine and supreme lesson of selfless love for all to practice and to attain a higher level of progress in all spiritual aspects.

God of Christians and Jews is not the same as the Allah of Islam.

In the Holy Bible God always address Himself as either I am the God of your Fathers / The God of Abraham Issac & Jacob (A, I & J) / I am the Lord the God of Hosts / I am the God who brought you out of Egypt, etc.

See the link and quote: Exodus 3:13 – 15

http://bibledev.azaz.com/bibleresources/...

How could not Allah use any of the above terms to address himself at least once in his Quran, if he was the same God of A, I & J?

If Allah was the same God of A,I & J, how could he forget his word and simply say, I am Allah (a terminology for God in another language)

If Allah was the same God of A, I & J, how could he lie about Jesus Christ which has been prophesied even before 500 years?

If Allah is the same Jehovah, how could he stand against Jehovah?

Allah is not Jehovah.

All Biblical prophecies about Satan & Anti Christ is positive with Allah in Quran.

Hi

One thing, for sure, is that since there are so many language around the world, there should equally be different names for the Almighty. At base level all the religions preach the same message and because of similiarities we are all brothers, irrespective of race, colour and religion.

Take care

A

Yes, because there is One and an only God. It is absurd to think that different believers have different gods. The sacred books give different insights to God, but that does not make Him different. This is the result of man's arrogance to think that God belongs to us, instead that we all belong to Him, the One and Only !

i honestly believe that he is for the gaps add up and the muslin book of the torah is used like a guidline /rule book almost like the bibles proverbs so to say.the jewish and chrisitian god is the same just one group believes in chrsit and one doesnt with of coursse the exception of massionic jews which believe in christ as well. there of course has to be mistakes in all things due to history(after all ....Alll humans make mistakes stories chg and the real things may get misconstrued a bit we are all brothers in christ/god's eyes. just look at buddists too different names but generally the same idea of heaven and god the angels so on.. so on...and so forth things may have different names but may be the same person i mean look at all the names for christ in the christian bible... are we seriously too narrow minded of a culture to see that those arent his only names come on now... too many things add up... finally another mind like mind thanks for posting

I believe that God is the God of everybody.
He clearly states that everyone belongs to Him. The child and the parents as well.
He also proclaims that people of all nations will kneel before Him and confess that He alone is God.
