Hey Daryl,

The situation that you explain is perfectly fine. My fiance is 19 and I'm 23, there's a 4 1/2 year gap. my mum and dad have a 5 year gap and my sister has a 9 year gap.

You will find that girls mature quicker than guys, so it helps if your with a younger woman, doesn't matter whether its a few months of a few years.

its seen to be normal if the guy is older, nothing wrong with it, but if the girl is older, the lads her toy-boy!

Its good that you have been going out 5 months as it shows there is something there worth keeping, you do have to work at relationships but its fun and enjoyable.

JUST remember NO hanky panky until she is 16+, this is a criminal offence.
I bet alot of your single mates are jealous of you!!

Keep it up mate and best of luck in your future with your girlfriend..

I gather your having sex otherwise you wouldn't be concerned.

I had the same problem at your age, its not your fault that your girlfriend was born on a different day to you and if you've been having sex already your not going to be able to stop until she hits 16. So folks there's not point moaning that they have been having underage sex!

No court or even prosecutor in the United Kingdom would even consider attempting prosecution under these circumstances so please don't worry yourself.

Make sure you use contraception - your both way too young for a family.

Yes it's fine as long as you don't do anything sexual (you could end up in jail).

My wife is 4 years older than me, my mum is 7 years younger than my Dad. The age difference only seems to come into it when you cross that magical line of 16 yrs old.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a girlfriend who's a couple of months youger than you, just because your 16.

You are asking us if it is right? you have been with her 5 months, you are 16, she is 15, what was the question? To confirm both your ages?

I'm lost.

If you are asking if the age difference is ok then I would say yes, but advise you to stay in school.

Age is not a problem in any relationship as long you are aware of the law. Don't be doing anything you shouldn't be until she turns 16.

Just be sensible.

Dont worry about it because there is less than a year between the two of you. It would be different if you were any older or if she was any younger. No one will even notice the age difference.

I AM 17 AND MY BOYFRIEND IS 16. WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 1YEAR AND 5 MONTHS GOING ON 6 MONTHS. IF THE TWO OF U SHARE THE SAME BOND, Y BREAK THAT BOND OVER SUMTHING AS PETTY AS A SIMPLE AGE DIFFERENCE.

Yes it is right. My first girlfriend was 9 years old and I was 10. So cute. It's ok. Even the 4 year old has his/her boyfriend/girlfriend.

It is just too cute. :)
