ok, i'm 16 and theres this guy who i've like for over a year. We've picked up before but nothing eventuated. We've known each other since littlies but have only recently become kinda close.
We hang out alot and he used to like my bestie.He's really good looking and loved by most of the girls and he knows it. We see each other at school and have the same friends but we never go past the basic conversations. On the w/e he'll msg me to ask wats hapnin and if i'm goin to the party thats on and we'll have a pretty good chat but then that's it. Im not sure if he wants to know if i'm goin cos he's interested in me or my friends...
We'll go to parties together but when we get there i wont see him till later on after i've seen him with a girl or two... and we'll be drunk and we'll flirt and hug and kinda kiss but then thats it. Never talked about again. Im SO confused and its hard to explain :-( I've made him sound like a sleezy dude but he isnt. We'll give the glances, surf together

You are his friend, his buddy, his pal. Cherish and keep it like it is and you'll be in his life longer than any of those girls!!!! You go messin it up with all that other mushy stuff, you'll just be one of those other girls who can only dream but never touch. Right now U can touch him anytime u want!!!!!!!!!!! The way I see it, U are envied by all who want him!!!

I know it's kinda hard to hear, but us ladies have to stick together.
When we have our heart set on Mr. Perfect, we don't realize all the other Mr. Just as Good's walking around us. Your so occupied with what you think you need, that you fail to get to know those people who could be genuinly good for you, and love you back just as much as you love them.
Now slap yourself twice, have a pink milkshake, and realize the you deserve to be the hunted. And you most probably are. Go out there and look at the merchandice.
Chances are you'll find someone better than this guy, he'll get jelous and start making moves on you, and you will be completely uninterested.
You deserve someone who derseves you, and this idiot, girl, he just won't do.

Sounds like he maybe does like you. Not a lot of guys will actually initiate contact with a girl they're not interested in, they're normally too lazy :-) Maybe try a situation where you're not both drunk? Or, while you're surfing, bite the bullet and ask him for a coffee or something after?

Only thing that makes him sound sleazy is that he gets drunk. But anyway, you're a girl, and attention from any decent to good looking girl is good attention. You can kiss him if you want, you won't freak him out. It's not like you're a gay dude that likes him or anything. It's natural! You can just ask too, no harm :)
