We filed on January 27th electronically. The irs.gov website said our refund would be deposited feb 9th. We didn't get it. Is the website usually accurate or could their be a problem?

I just talked to H&R block who I filed with online. Apparently they have refunds deposited into their accounts, deduct whatever fees are owed, and then deposit into the customer's account.

The IRS website estimates when it will send the direct desposit to your BANK, not to you. It could take 3 or 4 more days for your bank to post the deposit. Today is February 8, so don't expect the refund until Monday the 12th.

You need to give your bank time to update your account - Deposited on the 9th could mean at any time during the day.

There are alot of returns being delayed for and additional 2-4 weeks....
Did you claim EIC? If so, that could be the reason you have not recieved it.

I also was told I was goint to received my refund 02/09 and there it was this morning.

I received mine this morning. I went to the ATM at 7 am to check my balance and it was in my account.

i submitted my taxes online and then checked with the irs to make sure that my payment was recieved and that it would take 3 weeks to process. btw when has the government ever made a deadline????????

I was suppose to get mine today too, but it's not there yet. I don't think I will get it today either
