Hi Princess

I reckon you already know the answer. It is, of course, the difficult to grow and harder to make a good wine from, Pinot Noir.

One of my favourite winemakers, Bruce Jack, owner of Flagstone Winery, released a one off 2001 Pinot Noir under the label "The Heartbreak Grape".

On the back label he wrote 'Ask almost any of our Pinotphile wine-makers why they bother, and you'll get the "Everest" answer: "Because it's there."'
