hi, i went on a blind date while on a business trip. after our first meeting he asked me to lunch the next day and then to celebrate his birthday with his friends that night and invited me to come back in a couple of months. (he brought this up twice) i emailed him when i returned home to thank him for his hospitality. it has been 3 days and he has not responded. am i being to anxious. i am attracted to this guy and believe he is attracted to me. but i may have been a bit guarded when we were together. EXTREAMLY nice, but maybe a bit guarded. am i just being anxious.

Being guarded is normal thiss was a blind date you know nothing really of him yet. And I would wait for him to call. Why get your hopes up on someone who may not call you so soon in relationship better you know now than to fall head over heals with him.
as far as its been 3 days yes he should have called or emailed you most definately letting you know he enjoyed his time and just continue talking with you getting to know you more so the next time you come up you will be more comfortable.
However he's probably getting wrong information from his buddies there probably telling him don't call to soon you will look to eager. and we as women no thats a bunch of bull if a guy cares he will contact you sooner than later even the day after is proper to inform you he had a good time etc..
So cool your jets continue on doing other things.

you did not bang him or close the deal on the first or second date, he is not even going to bother responding, soon you are gonna get an awkward e-mail about him being busy and that he has moved to another planet and can't see you,

Relax. I have email accounts I only check weekly. Give him time and I am sure he will send a reply. If he does not then he is not worth your time.
