dated 17-1-07 and Tamil Guradian (24-1-07) The Christian Alliance has merely protested to the President of Sri Lanka -
where no action is taken as usual.

I agree with the above poster. Voice of the Martyrs has funds specifically set aside for this purpose. Copied from their website:

"Often when a pastor or evangelist is imprisoned or killed for their activities, their families are left with little means of financial support. This fund is used to help sustain these believers until they can find alternative means of support."

Perhaps you could contact VOM?I believe they have a fund for families of Christian martyrs.
