Have you put her on any other type of food lately? If so then this can be the cause of this but since she is a kitten she needs to see a vet asap. If you can before you go to the vet get a stool sample to take to the vet. It will help alot and it will save you some money also. If you can't get a sample then they will have to do a stool sample themselves and it is really hard to get a good sample. This is because the blood or stool has already settled and is at the back of the colon and is hard to reach. Take a stool sample to the vet. This can be a sign of serious illness but it also could be something minor. My 2yr old cat just had the same problem because I've had to change his diet and it caused him to have a very upset stomach therefor resulted in blood in the stool. I really hope this helps but do try to get your kitten to the vet as soon as you can. Good luck and best wishes.

Get to the vet ASAP. Cats are very prone to serious urinary tract infections, which can be painful and occasionally, deadly. Your cat needs to be examined by the vet and placed on antibiotics immediately! Don't hesitate on this.

10-1 it's urinary tract infection. If/when she's going outside the box and crying out, sure sign of it. Vet pronto! Cats will die from uti if left untreated.

You need to take her to the vet. She could be in heat or she could have some kind of infection. Pets are funny that way - They can act all happy when they are dying inside. They aren't able to tell you when something hurts.
