Hmm. Not much left of those groups though. Though most religious holidays in turn have changed hands from the christians to the markets and corporations, so I guess it's fair!

Wah, wah, wah. Christians stole pagan holidays. Christians stole pagan deities and made them into saints. Christians are all so evil and closed minded.
Do us all a favor and start paying more attention to your path rather than whining about how uber persecuted we poor pagans are. Or maybe you need to do a little research on what modern paganism has taken from other religions, magical systems and cultures. Like the basic altar setup, Watchtowers and circle casting, and other elements of the Golden Dawn. Or the Charge of the Goddess, which plagiarized several lines of Crowley's "Liber al Legis" word for word. Or sage smudges, sweat lodges, and other aspects of certain Native American religions (yes, each tribe does have a unique religious system). In fact, we can take these royalties and hand them right over to the folks on the reservations--I'm sure they'd appreciate it considering they haven't gotten a cent from hucksters like Brooke Medicine Eagle and Mary Summer Rain.

The examples you gave were not really that great.
The day we celebrate Christmas (the 25th day of the 12th month) happens to be the same day when Hannakah begins.
I don't think Jews are really "pagans".
There were "12" disciples because there were 12 tribes of Israel.
(Why? Where did you think it came from?)
You'll find a lot of this stuff matches Jewish tradition because, um, Christians use to be only Jewish. Yeah, remember that? There was a really big controversy in Jerusalem when some of the apostles began taking the message of the religion to the Gentiles.
Two comments, two strikes.
(Want to make it three?)

Since Paganism was derived long before Christianity I strongly believe that many of the "Christian" ways have been transformed from Paganism. There is written proof in the Poetic Eddas of these stolen beliefs. How can a whole religion form from nothing? Before the Reformation the only religion was Paganism. So you tell me where did they get these ideas to celebrate certain holidays?

How about paying royalties to women in general considering the suppression they have been placing on the female species for countless centuries? Blessed be

They should at least pay royalties to the Jews.
The whole New Testament is nothing but fan fiction!
(If only ya'll had kept closer watch on those copyrights, we wouldn't be in the mess we are today. None of us!)

Dude! That would be sweet! Too bad it won't happen. We can't even get them to admit any wrongdoing by burning witches in the 17th century.

Christians did not copy from pagan religions.Christianity grew out of Judaism.
The day of 'Christmas' was indeed made a Christian holiday by the Roman Catholic Church. But the day of Christmas is not mentioned in the Bible, and is not even relevant to Christianity in the first place.
