Are there any guys that has considered or would marry a woman and allow her to stay home and take care of the kids and play the actual 'house-wife' role while they are the sole financial provider of the household?

There are.
But too often women don't feel important if they stay home. They don't understand how important the role of homemaker and mother is.

Todays society has caused women to think they are missing something or being deprived if they don't work outside the home. Nonsense. Providing a stable homeplace is the most important thing a woman OR man could do. One reason there is so much trouble with society is because the children don't have a stable home. Some kids do fine coming home to an empty house for several hours till one parent comes home, but not many can be well behaved for long under those conditions.

Another thing wrong is that couples want a house full of "THINGS AND TOYS". Those cost money and often require both parents to work.

They have lost sight of what is truly the most important.

I would. Why? It's a common thing practiced by most women at my place, and considered as the thing women must do.
But I'd prefer my wife to work as well. No need to be high profile & time consuming jobs. My principles are, she can look for jobs after the house-wife role is well done. As long as my kids has what they need, and the house taken care of, she can go looking for jobs. Part time or full time.

It also depends on how much income I can make. If economic worsen & disaster happens, I have no choice but to tell her to work. I believe my future wife wouldn't mind. She'll be considered as a devoted & hardworking wife, because she's working for the family. That'd make me proud.

I hate seeing women using your reason (asker) as a justification to keep staying at home. That's not a good house wife.

It really depends now these days because you women did that equal right movement so we men are expecting more than just stay home wife. Although we would prefer our wife to stay home and have meal ready when we get off work. But it depends on the income situation as well. If you live in a very expensive city then partnership is reasonable when it comes to income but if you live in a small town and the husband make enough then don't work and be a house wife.

of course! thats the system that has worked for thousands of years. its a time tested system that has proven that it is effective. why change somthing that works fine? if you can find a guy who is willing to work enough hours to provide 100% for the family, and you are willing to take care of the household, then you have a golden situation. i for one would be happy to work as many hours to support a family if i had a woman who was completly willing to take care of the house/family. i know how much work that is, and i completly respect a woman who is willing to do that. good luck finding a man who feels the same! there is nothing wrong with being old fashoned. if you can manage that kind of situation, you will end up witha family more 'wealthy' then the gates!

Yeah right! Good luck selling that piece of S idea to a dude today. I think most men have wizened up and will run the other way once a woman starts talking marriage.

First, its a forever thing. Second, it will cost your man half of everything of he wants to dump you. And with chicks giving themselves away like they do these days, why would a dude put himself through that misery of being locked down to one woman.

Yea i have and wld love that. But of cos, when it comes to reality, i need to know if my salary is sufficient enough for me to do that, with everything increasing nowadays it's hard for one person being the sole provider and if i earn a lot...why not? Wld even hire a maid to help her out. :)

I did it. it's 50-50. If I'm going to work and she wants to stay home and be a house wife then by all means. If she want's to work and me stay home, them by all means. I hate work anyways, it's a means to an end. But I'm not going to go out and bust my butt at work all day while she stays home and watches television.
