Kind of like, "You're ugly and your mother dresses you funny." or , "And the horse you rode in on." or, "Yo mama."?

I knew this question was going to be too deep for some of you. The examples were of rebuttals of last resort...like calling someone a racist. Congratualtions to those of you who are more intelligent.

I thought racism was using racial slurs, discriminating against someone based on stereotype or their skin color. It seems to me that illegals don't understand what racism is. You tell them "No, you have to immigrate into this country legally like everyone else." That's racism. You ask them to learn English so you can understand and communicate with them - that's racism.

It's not even the illegals making accusations, because they can't speak English. It's more so coming from their supporters. They are using labeling to manipulate. It's better to come off as a victim, and try to get your way by having people feel sorry for you. Poor wittle illweegal. They are so put upon, and America is so evil for demanding them to immigrate legally, and learn English. Poor wittle illweegal. So unloved.

What's your term of a racist? Do you use slurs and make fun of people using stereotypical put downs? If this is the case-then no, it's not a rebuttal statement...you are a racist and a biggot. If not-then yes-they're just being crybabies.

Yes I do, especially when you present the facts, and there is no rebuttal to said facts that is what they say. Always.
I don't really see what is so racist about asking immigrants to come to this country legally. (or to any country that has immigration laws for that matter) Wanting them to have their background checks and health screenings, how can that possibly be racist??
The race card has been played out, it truly holds no bite any longer.

I think it's overused from both sides. Some people will hear something that wasn't meant in a racist way, and, perhaps because their past has made them overly sensitive, will say "Hey, you're being a racist!" On the other hand, people who are overly sensitive about being *called* a racist will sometimes hear the accusation when it wasn't meant, as well--like when someone says, "Are you more worried about ILLEGAL immigrants, or about any recognizable immigrants," and the other person will say, "There you go, calling me a racist!"

I think it always depends upon the circumstance. I like to say black American culture. In that way I am not picking on one person in the race, but their cultures interaction into the American society. That way it is not all black Americans. When you are describing a person and his character by his color . That is true racist. When you say a persons color when describing their charcter that is not racist. Because his individual color does not explain his character.

Yes its an all purpose word to try to shut the anti illegal group down. The pros use it all the time because they don't have a valid argument to support their cause. Its simply an over used meaningless label that people play to shut down dialog in a dynamic such as this .It doesn't work on me.Its simply a tactic and it just doesn't work .Call me anything you like,I know who and what my beliefs are and I am not insecure enough in them to be affected by the world racists.

truth is in the eye of the beholder

this question wasn't very intellegent to begin with. fact of the matter is you PROVIDED NO FACTS TO AN ARUGMENT YOU THINK OTHER'S BACK YOU ON. what sad is your kind is now falling for the republican spin machines new propaganda...couldn't win the war on drugs go after ball players..didn't like seeing dark skinned people in the streets-sterotyped them..now they are all illegals and a problem (by the way did you know a rise a kkk membership is on the up to about 125%? of course you didn't

then there's the irony (or hypocricay) of trying to put up a wall to keep people out. what now those people are a problem? lol...been happening for over 100 years buddy..but now they are problem huh? your kind (i konw you have to be in highschool so you wouldn't get this point) your kind cheered when the berlin wall went DOWN...now your CHEERING TO PUT A WALL UP

you tell me is that irony? or being a hyporcite? just admit that your feelings that you have inside towards people of color is want made you believe the republican spin machine that illegals are a problem.

but see you aren't honest nor or are you smart enough to do that.

so next time you try to ask a loaded question. make sure youre ready to hear the truth. because as i stated.

truth is in the eye of the beholder. people like you..see what you want to see.

you lack the vision to see the truth.

good luck in life. you won't get far with an ever changing america. bbut i find it funny that we all know by 2020 america will be mostly mexican and of other colors-now look at you white folks..scared and trying to stop it by closing boarders.

i like seeing you scared.

its funny to me.
