Ok my friend has leukemia and has had it since he was 7 years old well they got rid of it with radiation but now the problem is they think it is coming back, but that isn't the problem. Problem is because he has leukema isnt it true that after going through radiation you arent suppose to have kids? Help me out with understanding this please.

it's not a matte of "supposed to".......... a lot of times if he has gotten radiation several times ther is a possibility of him being infertile due to the radiation, but it is not a guarantee that he is, some ppl can father children after radiation, some can't, all depends on the individual case

After going through radiation treatment it is recommended that you reconsider having children because radiation treatment can alter your DNA structure and birth defects are at a higher probability.

It is possible to get a girl pregnant if you have/had cancer.
