I'm very curious be cause its such an open religion.

yes and yes. It's a good religion, and not as open as you might think. there is a sense of morality taught.

I am a Bahai, since 1976.

Bahai's believe in one God.

It is an "open religion" in that we regard every human being as a individual created by God to "know and to worship" God, regardless of his/her religious faith.

Bahai's believe that all true religion comes from one God, but for different times. So, when one says that "Baha'is believe all religions are the same," it is not necessarily true. Religious teachings and laws change to serve the time/place where the Teacher/Prophet/Messenger lived at the time of His ministry.

Bahai's believe that Baha'u'llah is the Manifestation/Messenger of God for this time. On this earth from 1817-1892, Baha'u'llah taught the message of the unity of mankind, economic/social equity, the equality of the genders, dissolution of the caste systems, and mandatory education for all people.
