The ability to lie very convincingly.
That seems to be the only criteria you really require.
Look at all the TV preachers who cheat on their wives, pinch from the collections, drink and use drugs, but all they do is say with a smile "I'm reborn" and "Forgive me" and they are all forgiven until it happens again, and again, and again.

you need a healthy dose of hypocracy, and soullessness, if youre going to sell out like that. Religion is a personal private thing, and why I see these people on TV the first thing I think is "scumbag"...And its spelled yacht. If you want one, I figured you better be able to spell it right for the insurance forms.
