Yes, it is possible to feel the presence of God. I found out one night. I was watching TBN. Four men were singing beautiful songs. When they were finished, they began praising Jesus. I was amazed and felt touched when they did because in my family, the men are too macho to sing and praise Jesus the way they did. They asked the viewers if we had ever felt the touch of His hand or His presence. They told us to try it.
At bed that night, I spoke to my Jesus. I asked Him how it would feel to touch Him. I then closed my eyes and touched my own face. I asked Him if that was the way it would feel. I pictured Him with His long beard.
I fell asleep. I was awaken suddenly by some electricity shocks. I got so frightened. I started saying in my mind, "Oh my God, what is this? Am I having a heart attack? What is happening to me?" I screamed out inwardly.
The shocks stopped. Then I realized that I fell asleep asking Jesus how it would feel touching Him. So I said, "Jesus, was that You? If it was then go ahead. I don't mind the shocking. Thy will be done" Right away, the shocking started again. I felt it all over my body from the tips of my toes to the top of my head. It was great. I had never felt anything like it before.
I felt His presence about five times or more after that one on different occasions. The others felt different. Some felt like a magnet pulling at you others like you're floating on air.

Yeah you're making sense and you can feel the presence of God.Acts2:1-4 says, (1)and when the day of Pentecost was fully come they were all with one accord in one place(2)and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting(3)and there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire and it sat upon each of them(4)and they were all filled with the holy ghost and began to speak in tongues as the spirit gave them utterance.
I'm filled with the holy ghost and its so amazing how you can feel the presence of God even though he is in heaven. I just can't explain it all, you will have to try him for yourself and believe me you will not be disappointed. That's why I can't wait to get to heaven because I'm going to praise him 24/7.
May God bless you to be able to feel his presence.

I think so. But, the only way to know is to know yourself, because I believe that God is within all his genuine creations. The bible gives a handy dandy measuring stick known as "ye shall know them by their fruits." An evil spirit does not produce good fruit, and a good spirit does not produce evil fruit. It is by this measuring stick that I reject the God of the Old Testament. It also makes a great way to know if that presence you feel is God or something else.

The nearest thing I can ever think of the presence of God is when my prayers work. It is when at the lowest point of my life, everytime i pray, things all of a sudden become clearer and brighter. Then problems all of a sudden disapper.
the second is when all of sudden I was dictated from within myself to do good or help a stranger. There is a such an unexplainable happines I feel everytime I done that.

Absolutely, YES!!! The best way to enter into the presence of God is by praising Him. I don't just mean singing a simple song, but true praise and worship of the Almighty God.

I am sorry but I don't agree with any of the answers people have left, but I also don't believe in God. I do believe in spirits (ghosts) and believe that they are always with us, to protect and help if needed. Remember that god was created when the Romans wanted everyone to unite under one religion, but spirits have been here since the beginning of time.

God is everywhere. Generally if someone says they feel the presence of God they have been filled with the Holy Spirit or they are close to someone else who has been filled with it.
