hi my name is nikki and i'm 19. Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 9 months, I love him to death and i know he is the one i want to settle down with, however i cant help but keep feeling like he doesnt want to be with me. I know he use to have a crush on this other girl who didnt like him in return and i still feel like he's hung up on her. He tells me he loves me and all, but sometimes i feel like he just doesnt want to be with me, he said he does and he said imake him happy. He lives about an hour away and we see each other about 3 or 4 times a week and sometimes he spends the night on the weekends. I sometimes feel that he stays with me cuz he is afraid of hurting me and i dont want him to feel obligated to be with me, and i have told him all of this and he says if he didnt want to be with me he wouldn't be. So is it just my own insecurities or does something seem up?

I can deduce it is your insecurities, it is possible he still could hold feelings for another woman, but that doesn't mean that you and he cannot stay together, there isn't just one person out there for each of us.
Do try and not bring anything up about this to him, it will add suspicion on you and could ruin your relationship, if you do care about it.

Why would you want to settle down at 19??
Dont you know how boring it is being with the same guy for years? Dont trap yourself emotionally at such a young age. Try hard to see/talk to other guys, please......dont loose your self worth on a guy who cheats.

could be you are insecure, or..maybe he is not showing the love, and caring you deserve..
think about it. maybe he is not the one.
