I grew up no longer rather understanding the version between 'black' and 'white' human beings interior the experience that I fought merely as no longer worry-free and tough with my 'black' friends as my 'white' whilst introducing a chum or pointing somebody out i does no longer draw interest to coloration e.g. 'that's the black guy over there...' subsequently I by no potential rather carried any specific racial subject concerns. although once I moved right into a predominantly Bangledeshi neighbourhood i found myself being regarded 'down on' and 'judged' on the flimsiest of subject concerns that truly purely boiled right down to i replaced right into a 'white guy' in a 'colored' neighbourhood. subsequently whilst i began out relationship a Bangledeshi the social outcomes for them have been dire their family members gave them an worry-free selection me or them. To me it replaced right into a shame and unhappy, yet regrettably that's the way some cultures perform. I dated the guy because of the fact on the time I honestly enjoyed him and it had (extremely) no longer something to do with the colour of his dermis. It replaced into merely different people who chosen to make it approximately that!

My parents are cool...they are ok with anyone i chose. Bt i did dated someone that their parents didn't approve, so i left her. Reason being, i don't want her to have a fight with her family just for the sake of being with me.

Yes, and I married him 29 years ago and we had six children together and had 20 years of marriage! He died nearly 9 years ago and we all really miss him... my parents grew to love him eventually, but it was almost too late!

yeap... but i do understand why they do it.
they always want the best for me, even thou i would think it isn't. sometimes it's good to listen to them, for they have been thru alot and know much more.
but at the end of it all, you are the one spending your life with the other person, just be sure of what you want and don't regret in life, that'll be the best way to show parents that you are able to handle your own life.

My first girlfriend was a babe! She was hot, very very smart, and very caring.....my mom hated her....only because she felt insecure as a mother. Everyone else liked her.....BUT.....
if both parents are telling you something is wrong....then maybe its time find out why.

ofcourse who hasn't. the latest one i dated had an "it's all about me attitude, so lets go out and party like a rockstar and f.u.c.k like a pornstar" type of girl. i dated her for 5 months and evertime my mom asked when she would meet her i would say "soon" because i knew my mom and this girl would mix like oil and frozen yogurt and it would be nasty.

yes, i think, and somehow they were right, we do come from different worlds and eventually things clash. However when i find true love it's not going to matter.
