(-: This is a problem? Girls *love* thick, wavy hair in guys.

Get a good hairdresser, and take a picture of what you want. There are hair cutting tricks that will thin out your hair. Then you can try using mousse or styling gel or even orange juice (seriously -- it makes hair very spiky, but washes out really nicely and doesn't damage the hair). Your hairdresser may have some good tips, too.

Have the courage to experiment in the privacy of your own home -- you can wash out most styling products and have your normal hair back in the morning if it doesn't work out the evening before.

What problem?!? Anyway, the shorter you cut you hair the straighter it looks. A hair straightener is good too. Thick, wavy hair is only hard to deal with when it is long, when it is cut up to your ears it looks amazing and is easy to deal with.

And if you care about female's opinions, i think long, staight hair on guys look sleazy.

Cut the thickness off and use a product called freeze it is only found at beauty suply stores. Your hair will stay where ever you want it and do what ever you want it to do. This does not damage your hair at all.
