Doing other workouts other than martial arts helps too.
Lift weights to improve strength, do a lot of push-ups.
As for flexibility, stretch AFTER your workout, not before. Stretching after helps with flexibility. Don't hold stretches for 10 seconds, otherwise they are no good. Hold a stretch at least 20-30 seconds.
For speed and reflexes there is nothing you can do alone. However you can grab a partner and start sparring.
Oh yeah, pratice helps too

Greetings
do some research into plyometric routines. these are fast muscle reflex training. also wight lifting is OK but don't love it too much. rather try to incorporate weights into your plyo's.
Balance will become more important as you improve. Personal balance as well as sensing your opponents balance. for this you will need to participate in rondori with an instructor watching to give pointers. These are many of the same training techniques used by professional athletes.

Speed and reflexes can be trained similar to handball or racquetball. Find a good wall or fence, place a hard board at a 45 degree angle on the wall and the ground, now toss a tennis ball against it. The ball should angle up towards you and should be easy to catch at the beginning, start by catching it with your throwing hand. Continue the exercise by tossing it harder and catching it with your other hand. Once you can easily catch the ball with both hands at the distance by throwing it as hard as you can, get closer. The goal with the exercise is to stand within 5 feet of the angled board and be able to catch the ball with either hand. Once you can master the tennis ball at a very close distance switch back to 10 feet and move to a smaller and more difficult ball, such as a super ball. Continue the same process of throwing and catching with your throwing hand and after a time period, switch to catching again with your non-throwing hand. Once you have mastered the speed and distance of the super ball, your reflexes should have improved over 300%. Another twist to this exercise is to learn how to throw the ball with your non-throwing hand and catch it with either hand. The only thing to do after that exercise is to start the same exercise with the tennis ball at 10 feet in low visibility/limited light (dusk). Start allowing your other senses to assist you in catching the ball, start allowing your brain to anticipate were the ball should be and the noise of the ball hitting the wall/backstop. Another method to practicing this is to throw a ball on a pitched roof and catching the ball based on where you think it will land. The final object of this training is to be able to catch an object in near darkness with limited use of your eyes. In defensive terms, your brain should be able to react to a throw object or punch based on all of your senses and react accordingly.

Well all I can say is keep practicing, these attributes will improve the more you practice.

but try training with wrist and ankle weights (with adjustable weight additions) to give you a little more resistance. and once you train for a few weeks and bump up your resistance work to give more challenge at higher weight intervals.

that should help you get started.

I know it worked for me, especially when I first began training with wrist and ankle weights alone. I almost always impress several of my fellow classmates.

my ultimate goal is to practice with an adjustable weighted belt, ankle, forearm, thigh, wrist weights and a weight vest.

That's a hard question to answer without seeing your body type
You must train with many different partners to improve.

yo should definately keep training ,but then you weern't going to stop were you?i didn't think so ! we sort of sabotage ourselves when we want to get more power by tensing the muscles but if you relax you will find that your kicks will get higher, punches stronger and more flexibility.
