L.Ron Hubbard was a very successful writer of fiction..not just science fiction in the 1930's and 40's.
The research he did into the nature of the human spirit was funded mostly by the royalities from the sale if his fiction.
The books and materials and public lectures about Scientology and Dianetics were all produced after 1950.

This is a stupid question... you either posted it deliberately to annoy and misinform others or you are genuinely that ignorant.

I'm not sure. But I think it was only a little longer than J.K. Rowlings "Harry Potter" books started being interpreted literally.

He wrote a book called Dianetics that was especially for them!

Basically what he did was create a new psychology. This is why its paramount to keep people away from regular psychology.

probably no very long. these people are all looking for something, or are a bit gullible, and this makes them suseptible for this type of con. just look at the teenage christians you find here. same type of people and the same result

As long as it took someone to figure out that they could make lot's of money by "selling" his theory to the direction starved movie stars.
