That's a pretty vague question. It's like asking someone what they think of automobiles.

But since you asked, I think that Canadians are polite and respectful towards other nations and very aware of their respective cultures. Education on other societies in the world, including Americana, are a regular part of their cirruculum in all grades of schooling. So, generally speaking, I think they're pretty smart. Their military is known in the global community as the peacekeepers of the world. They've never started a war but have finished many. In fact, their military is currently in Afghanastan fighting the Taliban and looking for the man responsible for the 9/11 attacks while the US pours enormous resources into this 'war' in Iraq. But of course nobody in the US knows this because the media doesn't report anything beyond its border unless it's something negative.

I really don't have a problem with any Canadian I've met.

I want to run a few names by you here. Ever hear of Mike Myers, Jim Carrey, Howie Mandel, Michael J. Fox, Paul Schaffer, James Cameron, (the late) John Candy, Neil Young, Hayden Christensen, Nelly Furtado, or Pamela Anderson? They all have one thing in common.

Curious: what do YOU think of people from Canada?

I do not think I KNOW

People from Canada are kind/mean
happy/sad
ruthless/meek
strong/weak
workers/lazy
rich/poor
givers/takers
tall/thin/tiny/huge
drinkers/non drinkers
hateful/loving
educated/smart
uneducated/simple
loners/social climbers
millionaires/homeless
haters/lovers etc. etc.
Just like any other country in the world people are the same
the only difference is we live in a land of plenty and in one
of the most beautiful and diverse places on earth

Thanks to our education system Canadians are usually
well educated and because of the diverse nature people
are more tolerant than other counties as we have
ties to almost every other nation on earth, via relatives
friends, business and our television network carry channels
from around the world so we are well aware of what is
happening on a global scale. not just living in our own
little space

So...we are FANTASTIC PEOPLE

To be truthful, I have, - within the last twenty-four hours, - actually, MET a Canadian, - a young lady, called Lara, from Toronto, - and, - as well as being quite a pretty girl, - she has an "ENTHUSIAM", about her, that, I - personally, - find DELIGHTFUL, and, PERFECTLY CHARMING. But, why STOP, at Canadian citizens, - the World is a HUGE place, - and, WE, ALL, have a DUTY, to be good AMBASSADORS, for our Country. If people TRIED to understand the THOUGHTS, and FEELINGS of others, - irrespective of WHERE they originate from, - I think that the World would be a VERY MUCH BETTER place!

I met a few; some in Vegas, more in Idaho. They seemed to be better-natured than us here in the US. Seemed like they were well-mannered, and pleasant.
