Was hired as independant contractor, they never asked for my SS#. Can I get away with not paying taxes by not giving him my social?

If you made over $600, they are require to file a 1099. Obviously they have no intention of doing so-so the Social Security Admin and the IRS will have no record. You should have filled out a W-9. By law you are required to report all your income so be careful. If you refuse to give me your #, I will file a 1099 on you. What they do after that is not anything I care about.

You will not get away... And What kind of employer didn't even ask for your SS#, well, if you make $250,000 or more than you don't pay SS...

This is illegal in the US in all states I believe. Check with the local IRS office.
