I hear all these "untold" reasons, but what are the basic reasons for the war in iraq? bush's way of protecting the US from terrorism? oil? gas?

The main reason for the war was to destroy Iraq to serve Israel political and military status in the Middle East because Iraq was the strongest independent country in the region. The war was ignited under false WMD pretexts for additional reasons : personal reason,to revenge from Saddam,To control Iraqi Oil and to start founding the so called new Middle East in which Israel leads Arab countries like sheep.

because of the gulf war a decade.. or 2 ago George.Bush snr left Iraq without capturing or killing or coming close to touching Saddam. When he withdrew his party of Neo-COnservatives were furious because they thought saddam was a centre of evil. but that myth about saddam was actually created by the Neo-Conservatives so they started believing in thier own lies

Probaly it wouldnt be for oil cos the Religous Extremeists burned the pipes and lost alot of oil thier if they were really for the oil they would of captured the oil depots 1st then moves on after they secured the depots

Conclusions: The 'neo-coservatives' pressured Bush into invading iraq im not protecting him or anything i just think that is most logical explantion i can wind up ina few mins

If we need oil, attack Venezuela would be easier; same with gas! If we got oil, we won't suffer like this since gasoline price won't down but up! Ignorance people believe in rumors not in documents. WMD found in Iraq, but they refused to believe. Terrorist's training camps are all over the place but people try to ignore this fact!

There are no reasons left for our soldiers and civilian personnel to be in Iraq. Our "Puppet Dictator" George Bush is there only for the price of oil and his own gains. He should be executed just like Saddam.............................<<<<<<<<<< Ticked off parent and Teacher of boys in other countries fighting other peoples war.

Bush wanted to get Saddam... for daddy.. that was number 1 reason.. he was gong to find a way, no matter what. Second, big oil companies wanted in there.. and Bush is tied to big oil... and third.. Bush wanted to be known as a war president... was too afraid to fight himself in Viet Nam.. but now wanted to be a war hero like he thought daddy was.

Everything he has done.. failure!
