The Ark that Noah supposedly built held 2 of every animal. Since each animal has a logical predator, there would be a need to have “feeder animals” kept isolated in certain chambers. Thus increasing the number of animals on the ark. So my question is, is a wooden boat, say the size of Manhattan Island structurally viable in a sea that has no land to tame its waves?

Large sailing vessels were made out of wood for centuries.

Per the bible, the mythical Noah's ark was only 450 feet long, not the size of Manhattan.

I would call the construction of Noah's ark improbable but not impossible from an engineering standpoint. The limiting factor is not the material, but the construction technology to build such a structure.

Noah's ark was significantly smaller than Manhattan. It's dimensions can be found in the Bible. Additionally, it was not built of only wood, but was lined with tar and pitch to prevent leaks and help it float. Finally, a gigantic raft -- a structurally viable sea vessel -- of any size should theoretically be able to stay afloat.

I believe that without interfering landmasses. the seas might actually be calmer...

Besides that, my answer is no, such a ship could not exist.

Or maybe God granted Noah a form of super tree?

Hey, how did the plants come back after the flood anyway?

With GOD all things are possible...

So, I would say that yes...speaking of that particular example...

I believe that God is real...He is perfect...and the reason for hell is that it is God's way of punishing Satan....

Adam and Eve are real...because if you read Genesis...God gave Adam the power of knowledge...even to name the beasts of the field....and the ability to write...in which they began the documentation of time...

What ever God does in heaven...He does for eternity...So, when Satan rose up against him...he did not kill him in heaven...because he would have had to kill him in heaven for eternity...so, he created hell...it is the devil's time out...it is where God can sentence him peacefully...

And there is no need to question God if you read the Bible...but, the Bible is revealed to His children...and you can get the revelation by accepting Christ as your savior and receiving the Holy Spirit....

people have been building vessels out of wood since the beginning of time. do you think they had steel thousands of years ago? besides, it was God's design. His designs are always perfect.
