i like this girl in my class, but we've never talked before. For valentines day i wanna give her a home made card
is this a good idea for a first impression?

Wow same problem here except me and her are kinda friends but i dont have her for a class anymore and i barely see her i just talked to her for like 2 minutes in lunch today. But theres two ways this can go either very good or very bad. if good it will be that you like her and she likes you. now the bad is that you like her but she doesnt have the same feelings for you and you'll come off in an awkward way so i really dont know i dont have a problem with getting to know people since im outgoing if im around the right people if i am then i can talk to anyone and not be embarrassed.

for a first impression, yeh! dats an excellent idea.. but ensure dat u gave it to her FACE-TO-FACE and smile while u're at it.. that wil show that u're sincere and there's high chances that she wil melt at that gesture of u being brave enuff to come up to her.. then every time u see her, smile at her for acknowledgement.. i'm sure she wil smile back and the next thing u noe, u and her wil be talking cozily..

first impressions usally involve talking... idk about the whole card thing...maybe if your in elementary or middle school it mite work...but a simple hi and a small conversation about what shes doing for v-day mite be a better bet. and mite make a biger impact than a card.
