I appreciate the differences and the similarities. I still hang out with many of my friends from high school. Our group was formed from people that didn't fit in with any of the little cliques high schools always have. We all were the outcasts in our own ways and for many different reasons. We came together and accepted each other and I think our diversity is what has made us all still be friends 8yrs after high school.

I think one of God's greatest gifts to us is diversity. I would actually say that I appreciate the differences more than the common, because what we have in common I already know, what is different is what causes us to grow and learn.

of course i like finding the same ground with people, were we can talk for ages on the same subject sharing in it together.

But at the same time, having another input or another way to look at things i find interesting, even if i dont agree.
It opens up areas to do a little research of my own, so in fact its learning.
As long as both sides are open minded, nothing worse if they just push an idea and not willing to hear your differences too.

So yah i do appreciate other differeneces.

You have to appreciate both... if you only appreciate the common then you miss out on learning something since it's our differences that teach us and make us grow.

If people had no differences the world would be boring! Sometimes peoples differences cause trouble but if people are open-minded enough its very fun to talk about something other than things you already know, how would we learn what else is out there?

I appreciate all the differences between myself and others but if they have unwillingness to repent of sin, if they reject the truth, if they are in rebellion toward God this creates a gulf between us that can’t be bridged by friendship. It can only be overcome if they enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ.

It really depends on the difference. But I think the differences make things interesting when you have a mutual respect toward each other. : )

But have you noticed that people often criticize-hate other people because they see themselves in them?
