My mother was not perfect, but she was the kindest and most loving atheist in the world. Perfection is completely abstract and has no correlation in the real world. Even, in the book of Genesis the grand pronouncement was not about perfection but about all those who dwelt in this world , "And, the Lord saw that it was good." how can being different, being independent, being a free thinker, or even being an atheist have anything to do with perfection?

If I'm correct an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in God, if so he will never be perfect. Yes, a person can be perfect.St. Matthew 5:48 says, to be ye therefore perfect, even as your father which is in heaven is perfect. God is talking about spiritual wise meaning not to sin. But naturally no man is perfect.Deuteronomy 18:13 says' thou shalt be perfect with thy God. Which is again is talking about not sinning. Jesus was a perfect man. 1st Peter 2:22 says, WHO DID NO SIN NEITHER WAS A GUILE FOUND IN HIS MOUTH. Yes Jesus died over 2,000 yrs ago, but guess what after dieing on the cross and be buried in his grave he rose on the 3rd day. Jesus is yet alive because he lives in me. As of now he is sitting on the right hand of God wanting on him to tell him to come and rapture out all of the holy ghost filled saints of God. Attention all sinners, backsliders and ye hypocrite's Jesus is soon to come so repent and turn from your wicked ways if you plan on making heaven your home. God bless you.

A shallow question. Atheists are individuals, they have other characteristics besides the religion component. One could be a cruel atheist or a rude atheist, or a kind atheist or a polite atheist. As always. perfection depends on the individual, as a whole.

There is no such thing as perfect.
SOME may seem like they're perfect on the outside but everyone has flaws.
Atheists are not like some strange people from another planet.
They're just people speaking out for their opionions.

Well, they THINK they are perfect, they THINK that they are the only one's who knows anything about religion and God....they seem to think many things; I am sure they have their reason.
But no, I don't think or know of any perfect person except for the one that walked on water.

Just like everyone else, they aren't perfect at all. In fact, those who think they are perfect, prove their own imperfection--a lack of humility.

no one is perfect (including Jesus. If he was perfect, then he would have left the world proof that he was the son of God instead of one 2,000 year old book that he wrote NONE OF)
