I have been getting tingling sensations down my left arm for the past couple of days. The other night I also had back and chest pain, I am only 21 so it couldn't have be a heart attack...could it?

I am not overweight at all. I have no back or neck injuries just an ache below my shoulder blade.

hi, I had a very similar thing happen as well. I was tested for a heart attack but because we are both so young, the chances are slim. I ended up having plurasy. I recommend you go to your doctors or the hospital straight away and have chest x-rays. A blood test will also happen and this will determine if you have an infection or may help indicate what is going on. Dont leave it nay longer though.
Good luck

A tingling sensation down the left arm, and later chest pain could possibly spell out a heart problem (possibly one or more clogged arteries). You need to get immediate medical attention.

Could be a bulging disk in your neck pressing on a nerve. That can be diagnosed with an MRI. Young people can die of heart attack too but it's usually it's from some non/misdiagnosed congenital(from birth) heart condition. Go get checked by your doctor asap.

Stranger things have happened! I know a lady who had a heart attack 22. my guess though, is probably a pinched nerve. go get it checked by your doctor just to make sure everything is OK.

OK, that shoulder blade pain almost confirms a pinched nerve.
your doctor can give you a shot of cortisone that will give you almost immediate relief. then probably off to physio. for a few treatments.

Hey, it's better than a heart attack!

something could be interfering with the nerve message in that area ie: vertabrae could be pinching the nerve at the back ofyour neck...is your neck tight and stiff? other than cardiac thats the only thing that i can think of at the moment but you should definately get it checked out.. good luck.

You don’t have to get worried about it. It could be because there is not enough blood circulation due to perhaps disuse atrophy or perhaps due to the fact that part of your body was at rest for two or three hours. You can find good home remedies for this. I did find some at http://ailments.in/peripheralneuropathy.html

Heart attack wouldn't be ruled out although not likely. I would check with an orthapedic sergen and have an mri done to check for pinched nerves.

id be more inclined to say its a pinched nerve in your back. go to the chiropractor and get it put back in. u can get a pinched nerve just from sleeping crooked.

if u still have it then go to the dr. it may be something more.
