Jesus' 2nd coming could be any time. It could be right at this second or next year, it's unknown to people. We should be ready for his coming though. We should live today as if He's coming right this 2nd. We should be like the wise women in the bible parable. He might come while we are still alive, or we might die before He comes. The good news HE IS COMING, the details shouldn't matter.

Obviously if I am about to die I can say that Christ won't be coming back before I die unless He comes back within the time from me lying on my death bed until I take my last breathe. God will come back in His time and it isn't for us to know only God Himself.
He tells us not to look for the day nor the hour for He comes as a thief in the night. We'll all just vanish and everyone will be freaking out thinking that millions got abducted by aliens or something like that. But that day you will know that God has come for His children.
He could come within the next second or 3000 years from now we don't know and we aren't supposed too.
Like some may think: This sounds like something out of a story book or movie it is very real and something we cannot understand. Read the bible and take a look at all the signs we are experiencing. Yes they have gone on in the past but we are experiencing more and more of these things that need to pass before that glorious day I can see my Father in Heaven.

Get this. Now, I don't want to be the bringer of bad news, but this is what the bible says about Jesus coming back:
Amen, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. (Matthew 23:36 NAB)
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. "Learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, know that he is near, at the gates. Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. (Matthew 24:29-35 NAB)
So, according to Jesus, the rapture has already occured. You can't dispute what Jesus himself said. Sorry.

If you're on your death bed, it won't matter, since you'll shortly be returning to Jesus, anyway.
Same difference.
