i have to go to school and i have a dance to go to on friday and i need to get better and i really have no time to rest and im taking lots of vitamin c and a lot of medicince but its seen to be not working (i still habve a stuffy nose and a lot of Mucus) I hate the mucus how do i fix that (no time to buy mucinex or medicine or something!!!!)

Steam bath - sit on the edge of the tub while the shower runs as hot as can be. The steam alone will help to open up the sinus passages. If you have a handful of epsom salt you can put in, so much the better - or some essential oils: citrus, minty or eucalyptus / tea tree oil. If you have the oil put it on a rag and throw it in the tub and let it fill up. Sit in the steam for 15 minutes - you will be amazed at how much better you feel.

Having said that you need to take the time to care for yourself, even if you don't feel you have the time. Take care of yourself first then everything else will flow nicely. You can steam bath morning and night until you feel better - it has never taken me more than 3 to clear congestion.

Try a long steam bath. Run the shower on hot and sit in the bathroom with the door closed for about 20 min. Unless you start to feel light headed try only 15 min. Keep blowing your nose and coughing up and spitting out every thing. Sound gross but it should helps. Take breaks and repeat. Also believe it or not the cool air is also good for breaking up mucus especially in the chest.

well go to the store and get Zycam they have it for colds and flu that stuff is great if you take it when you first get any symptoms you will get better really fast. Still take it because you will get better quicker than if you do not take it they have many types they have chewables, mouth spray, nasal spray, i use the mouth spray.The stuff really works. Oh yes they also have medicine on a spoon that you put in a hot drink i use it in tea.

Good with the vitamin C, try adding zinc, and drinking lots of water. Sleep as much as possible. I can usually get better within a day or so if I put my mind to it.
