Transmission having trouble switching from second or third. Even if it is automatic it sounds like to me you better get your transmission checked. If you let it go and have to have it replaced it will be very costly. Take it from me I have made that mistake. Fix it while it is a small problem.

You could havea Vacum line thaat bad or your EGR Valve is stuck if the car has one.

Depending on the Milage you have on the car if you have the orginal battery in the car then you should change it just that the battery is old and may not be holding a charge.

you failed to say what type of transmission you have.........automatic....mean,s slipping transmission.........manual transmission........mean,s slipping clutch!...........race,s under heavy load!.......but eases up when load lighten,s!
