I am religious, but I don't believe in intelligent design. I believe pretty much everything an Atheist would, with one exception. I see things in nature an Atheist wouldn't see, just like I may see art in a painting when another person just sees colored substance on a canvas.
Blessed Be.

One of my favorite sayings is this: If you live like there is a God but there isn't the worst thing that can happen is that you lived the best life you could. But, if you live like there isn't a God....You better be right.
First to try and stear you away from evolution: Nature by nature breaks down to its simpilist form...the adom. It is not physically possible to progress into something more dynamic than where it began. If you know of anything please let me know! Secondly, if we were once an ape or any other creature for that matter and became human there would still exist today several stages of that being. But as you can see there are no neanderthals walking the planet! Except for that Geico commercial.
The Bible on the other hand is a book of books written by men inspired by God himself. Most of them walked with Christ during His time. Most of Christs' deciples died for what they had believed in. I've never known of anyone willing to die for a lie! Christ performed many miracles during his time on earth and I think that maybe he did that to help prove he was who he said he was. Why would Christmas day be such a huge world wide holiday if Christ didn't exist?
Also, the bible is a modern day future teller full of prophesies that have come to past and so many more still to come. Atheists have dedicated their lives to proving the bible a fake only to become Christians themselves!
In closing, Psalms 19:1 says," The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." How can you look at the world around you and not see the workmanship of God's hands? Oh friend, there is a God!

Don't look for "proof". Proof only exists in mathematics. In the real world, there is no proof.
But do look for evidence, and use logic and reason to form testable theories about the world. Note that in general the theories can only be falsified by finding evidence that contradicts the theory. Just because you find evidence that supports a theory, that doesn't mean that the theory is correct -- you just might not have found the right test yet, and meanwhile another theory you haven't thought of yet is the correct one. So remember to keep a healthy amount of skepticism, and to keep thinking and testing and questioning your assumptions. If you do this, you'll slowly but surely uncover more and more truth.
One of my theories is that the Hebrew Bible is just the mythology of the ancient Hebrews. I find that theory stands up to tests much better than the theory that it is a true account of "god".
By the way, theists like to poke fun at "theories", because they "arent' facts", or "aren't proved". Such people are just showing their ignorance of the the scientific method. The Theory of Evolution is not the only great theory of science that has stood the test of time and is still called a "Theory". Consider Einstein's Theory of Relativity, or Issac Newton's Theory of Universal Gravitation, or Maxwell's Theory of Electromagnetism.
And oh, one last thing. Faith is belief that is not supported by evidence. Irrational Faith is faith despite the existence of contradictory evidence. There is no harm in faith if you know it is faith, and remain open-minded. But there is great harm in irrational faith. Don't let yourself be deluded into believing irrational ideas just because many people around you believe them.

Is it possible to Prove there is a God scientifically, I would not know how. It is faith based. There is in my mind evidence, that would point to that conclusion, but not definitive proof, scientifically speaking that is testable. As for evolution,, it is at this time far from having been proven. Is it possible to prove evolution, I do not know the answer to that. I do not think so,but I also will admit that I do not believe in Evolution, at least as far as it tries to explain life on Earth. but I could be wrong. If I am wrong about evolution, and they can prove it, then I will say I am wrong about God. I do not believe both can be true. At this time all I can say is I believe in God, And I think there is enough evidence to back that. But it is still and always will be faith based. Until he comes down and says hello.

joanna ,its one of two ways one there is a force that organised our being created
that made the first life,
or there isnt
there is life because we are here ,then we move on to what was the name of that first cause that caused our present being science cant name it because we call it god
whatever it was that caused it ,be it fluke ,chance ,accident ,whatever i call it god
now some call it jehova ,others allah ,science will one day give it thier own name but for now lets say the decide to call it egg
egg by any other name is god
my proof look at your hand
did it make itself ; why is it like mine ,we came from monkeys then why is my hand so different ,also our eyes our sckullsd
why not a middle between the ape hand and yours where is the inbetween
like birds come in all shapes and sizes apes come in hundreds of shapes but all monkeys well they look like monkey hands,
none really have human hands only full humans ,so why if our middle ancestor didny survive yet those lesser [monk-keys did]was our ancestor not smarter than monkey?
smarter than a sloth ,oor even as dumb as an ox ,why our ancestor.ape improvement not survive when even a fly did
the mostt wierd human yet is not ape '
the most advanced mokey is yet not close to being human
where is that missing clever ape??
god alone knows right?

Yes of course it is. Faith is by definition belief without evidence. If evidence or proof were there it wouldn't be faith, would it? There is no evidence whatsoever in favor of or against any modern (or ancient) religion or faith. Yes, the Christians may be absolutely correct in every sense. But then, Zambuli the Congo God may be the One True Creator as well. That's the nature of faith.
I am forced once again to quote Robert Heinlein: "There is no conclusive evidence of life after death. But there is no evidence of any sort against it. Soon enough you will know. So why fret about it? '

There is a boat load of "scientific" proof leaning towards evolution, ie: Lucy and Little Lucy, dinosaurs, no physical evidence anywhere of a flood that killed every body. To answer your second question: If a being were going to create the entire universe, maybe that being exists outside of space/time as we know it.

There is a lot of proof of evolution, so I definatly don't beleive in creationism. It's not the I dont beleive in a bigger power, it's just that I have no idea what it is...if that made any sense whatsoever.

JOSHUA 24:15 ... Jesus Said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. .choose you this day who you will serve.
In other words, if you MUST have some type of physical proof, other than the word of God, you're wasting your time, and in fact have made your choice. Think about that.

I do not know what the truth is. I am a skeptic. RELIGIONS plundered billions of dollars last year from the masses. MORMONS are a cult. FAITH means not having to think for yourself.
