My maltipoo's been throwing up at least once a day for a couple of weeks now. I've been told to give her a small amount of gravol. What do you thinK?

If your dog has been throwing up for several weeks, you need to find out the reason. Gravol will only take care of the symptom not the cause, and it has been known to have adverse effects in some dogs. You should see your vet for xrays and bloodwork, there are many better medications that can control vomiting.

I have actually used gravol for my shepherd. It was during a stressful situation for him, but I have him only 1/4 of the tablet, obviously the size difference than humans. It seem to calm him well enough to cure some of the restlessness at night time. Just make sure you cut it small enough, depending on the size of the dog.

call your vet and ask for the right amount. my grandma takes her cats on car rides and they get it so i don't think it would hurt the dog. the vet told her the right amounts.
