his best friend is the guy i like, but he likes my best friend!

act stupid!!!!!!!!!
then answer the question on the undercover dont even let him think you feel sorry for him.
act like you didnt even know thats what he meant (if that dont work act like you thought he was joking)
tell him the situation in a story about someone else.
like,so and so and so and so,were best friends at first but then they started dating but then they broke up and discovered that they were better as friends but they messed up cause now they dont even like eachother. they should have stayed friends.
i would never jeoperdize our friendship like that you know,what i'm saying?
but,sometimes we block our good men trying to get to the bad ones so if he's a good one he could be for you.

woah, thats a lot of best friends liking each other.the best you can do to not hurt anyone is forget about his best friend, obviously your best friend likes you very much and hurting him would hurt your friendship. Just try to back off of any of those guys and find someone else and let your best friend know that you like him, but only as a friend.

I went through the same thing but his friend liked me back. I turned him down and me and his friend hooked up. I don't regret it because I was never into him and I turned him down as nice as I could. I think you should just let it ride out because believe me it will out come together in the end.

Ah- before you get in any deeper, tell your best guy friend that you're really not interested in going out with him just now, and leave HIS best friend alone until you see what happens between him & your girlfriend. Got that? I do- barely! :) Good luck.

I know it sounds hard and crazy, but having a conversation with everyone present and talking about who wants to be with who will make things clearer. You never know, getting with him might not be so bad. If your too confused just stay single.
