all my folders have been renamed with an exe extension and when I rename it without the exe I can't open the folder. I need the files in those folders. What can I do. What is this virus

If you can't see the file type: Tools, folder options, second tab, click "hide file extensions" (by doing this you are making them appear). You can rename the files to the proper extentions. Next, copy the files and put them on another hard drive or on another computer. Reinstall the system and get a new antivirus program to prevent worms (viruses).

go to Trend Micros and do a House Call...then delete all files with viruses..this will work
