This sounds more like a lecture than a question.

Col. 3:5: Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
Yep, and those who think they can weasel out of it should read Romans 8:13; also Eph. 5:3 and 5:5 and Romans 6:13.
Finally Col. 3:6 says -- "For which things sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience." Then in Col. 3:7 Paul notes that some of the Colossian Christians at one time walked and lived as homosexuals or worse until they were changed by the Spirit of Christ Jesus.
In Revelation 21:8 the fearful and the unbelieving are counted worse than the abominable, murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters and liars.
While homosexuality is an abomination, along with a number of other things; those engaged therein are still some of the lost which Christ died for. I find it strange that you can point out the sin and skip remedy.

Inordinate affection is in reference to intimate touching in a immoral way outside of marriage. In other words, it can refer to man grabbing on a woman's breast, butt, or caressing in a sexual manner. Kissing and not married and on and on. I think you get the picture.

This is what I think. Everyone sins, Christians included. Christians won't be able to overcome all their sins after receiving Christ, and I think being gay is a lot of times one of those sins.
