100 keys..but only 1 unlock the door..what are the other 99 used for?

Easy...100 keys, 1 unlocks the door because K-E-Y where K is the 11th letter of the alphabet, E is 5, and Y is 25. This equals 41...If you take the 99 keys that don't work and subtract 41 you get 58. 58 is the original patent number for the key. Hence 1 key unlocks the door.

that 1 key is the letter "R" because once you click that key. it spells the word "DOOR"
