I normally have oily skin but it doesnt get oily until fifteen minutes after I wash it. It starts out dry once I finish washing my regimen is wash, tone, and then moisturize-dry. And then I find myself having to put some vaseline or moisturizer like that which just clogs my pores and cause bumps. So I guess I have combination skin or something. What would you recommend

Avoid Petroleum Products Petroleum products (ESPECIALLY ON YOUR FACE AS IT WILL CLOG YOUR PORES), such as petroleum jelly, baby oil, mineral oil and preservatives that are commonly found in store-bought lotions, creams and skin care products are foreign to our skin cells and clogging to our pores. They also attract dirt and bacteria and can become vehicles for these unwelcome substances. When our skin has to deal with this abuse everyday it ultimately weakens and breaks down the strength and durability of our skin and can cause an allergic reaction. This is very evident with the rise in skin allergies, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, DRY SKIN and skin cancer.

You should only use products that are truly "all natural" (read the ingredients) and organic, if at all possible. The only oil you should put on your skin, especially, because it is so sensitive, is organic, unrefined, coconut oil. And soaps dry out your skin even more, so you should wash w/ products that do not contain "soap" or any fragrance, that are non-comodogenic. do a little research, but trust me ... I've done the research myself & have very sensitive skin, and for health reasons, most importantly, I only use natural, organic products on my skin, body, hair, and for consumption. I don't even use regular toothpaste, mouthwash or deoderant, if it's not organic, and truly organic. Check out this website for starters: http://www.inspiredliving.com/organic/or...

I love Juice Beauty products ... they have a fabulous line & great moisturizers that are 95% organic and leave your skin beautiful. go to http://www.juicebeauty.com/

It sounds like you might be being too hard on your skin. Most likely you are drying it out through harsh washing, then the skin overproduces oil to try to correct the dryness. If you focus on only washing your skin twice a day with a gentle cleanser, you might have better results. After your skin realizes that you aren't being so hard on it, it will most likely be less oily. And use a noncomedogenic product to moisturize. I like Oil of Olay Complete Defense. Vaseline will definitely cause zits which I think is what you want to avoid. Noncomedogenic means that it won't cause zits; always look for this word on facial products from now on.

stop using the vaseline and try a moisturizer for oily skin, not combination. Also, moisturize only once a day, preferrably in the morning. Drink a lot of water and wash two times a day.

Try using the Clinique three step stuff. It has a soap, an exfoliator, and a mosturizer, and it comes in different skin combinations. The soap will help clean your face to not cause bumps, the exfoliator will help keep it clean, and the mostiurizer will help keep it moist and not oily. Also most of their products are oil free, but have mosturizers at the same time. Hope that helps

I have a similar condition so I use a moisturiser based soap like Nivea or Dove.

as answered earlier...drinking a lot of water brings down the dryness substantially since you're always hydrated and also makes it look fresher. the post bath dryness doesn't stay...recently vaseline has come out with a moisturising lotion for oily skin...

they call it the moisturising solution. a full body application helps a lot...

Aveeno has a facial moisturizer that works. It is pricey, about $14 per bottle, but it will last 2-3 months. You don't need a lot.

Aveeno Clear Complexion is good, but don't put it around your eyes.

Positively Radiant is also a good one to use if you don't have regular acne that needs to be treated.

These are non-comedogenic, which means they won't promote acne.

use something light while your not heavy on your face. i use oil of olay for sensitive skin its got spf in it but its also not heavy. also whatever the regimen you are using may be drying you out too much causing some of the need for so much moisture at once.

Clean your skin and apply Night of Olay...every night. Vaseline clogs your pores. I'd never use that on my face.
