everything for free? what world are you people living in? Illegal immigrants spend 90% of their income on this country and send a mere 10% home. It is rare to meet an illegal immigrant on welfare, because those documents are checked. They contribute more than they use in services federally but not in their state government, but then again, legal citizens also use government services so don't forget that.

You can say my facts are wrong, i can your facts are wrong, we could go on like that for days. There would be no way for you to fully prove your opinion and no way for me to prove mine.

Apparently some here think illegal immigration is something new. That must be why they blame it on the conservatives. Let's face it, not everything can be blamed on the Republicans or the Democrats. Illegal immigrants probably feel (or think) that they will do well for as long as it lasts. Because they know that at the very worst, they will get a free ride back to the border and then they'll do it all over again. There's not much that's goign to happen to them and they know that. So, why not?

Any normal person crossing into a country illegally would be scared. They have probably been long aware of the danger and the pitfalls. The illegal emigrant from Mexico feels hopeful for a better life for him/herself and anchor babies are a loophole in the law they use to make for themselves a legal reason to stay here. Many of them send money back to their families in Mexico (and elsewhere). Remember, evil for good reasons is still evil.
Your view of conservatively oriented people seems quite off base. Just because someone says they are "a conservative" doesn't mean they are. Also, if you believe everything you're told by educators and the main-stream media you're putting yourself into the position of being one who believes everything they're told. Will Rogers said, (jokingly) "I only know what I read in the papers."

I believe the honest hard working people coming from Mexico are thinking they maybe able to create a better life for themselves and their families.Hoping they won't be killed in the process.
My Great-Grandfather came from Mexico, and became a citizen raised a respectable hard working family. Some of the family were Judges or worked in the court system,banking, law enforcement and many other honest careers...I give people credit for wanting to better themselves, but their needs to be a way to get citizenship the proper way and also limit the amount of people coming into this country from any country. Should also be a way to trade out the lazy bums wanting to live off the system and looking for you owe me money.

It depends - are you talking legal or illegal?

Legal ones - hope, fear, but they are also motivated to learn the American way and they respect our laws.

illegal ones - smugness, complete disrespect. You can spot the difference a mile away! I live in a highly populated hispanic area and am here to tell you that even the legal Mexicans have a problem with the illegals.

Now, I think there is a difference between an illegal who comes here for the purpose of squeezing our governments money and taking advantage of our society and a legal person who came over the same way by hoping the border and then go straight to the authorities to seek asylum and become legal.
I don't care how they get here, it is how they represent your country while they are here. Illegals are very disrespectful. I have seen houses that run over 200K with 3 or more families living in them with 7 kids. There are hard working Americans that can't afford a house that expensive. I have watched these peoples kids go over and pee on the neighbors house because they are too lazy to go inside and use the toilet. The parents say nothing. Oddly, when they first moved in they were going on their house and about a week later the mom caught them and now they go on the neighbors house. So,the mom didn't say don't do that, she said don't do that on our house.
The 2 fams (in a 3bdrm house) living right next door to us just had their house repoed, it had roaches and mice infesting it. There are 9 houses on our block, 4 had illegals in them and 3 had legal Mexicans and then ours and a white fam. Now there is a black fam on one end, us, 2 illegal houses, 2 white fam, and 3 legal houses. The legals that are here are really sick of the illegals because they said that the illegals give them a bad name. The houses with the illegals in them have a constant turn around of people going in and out of them. They are filthy, have uncontrollable children and animals. It is horrible. Now, I am not saying that they are filthy because they are Mexican because the legal fams are very clean and their children are inpecably respectful and obedient to there parents. But when you cram 17 people in a 1400 sq ft house. You are going to have problems.
The illegals are very disrespectful and just nasty people. Every one on our block agrees. We have all signed petitions to evict these people-Even the Mexican legal families!
As a side note: you keep saying that 'the white people this' and 'the white people that' (I have read other posts of yours as well). It sounds to me sir that you are the one that is racist. I suggest that everyone posting list their nationality and you will see we are a colorful quilt. Not all of us are white.

Racism is a mental disease. Republicans and Conservatives have allowed our communities to destabilize in order to "utilize" cheap undocumented workers. The U.S. employers who criminally invite and hire undocumented workers are the blame for the social chaos in our communities. Republicans and Conservatives have consistently slashed funding to social programs and planning committes that would have kept our communities stable. Bush went to Viet Nam to arrange for the outsourcing of millions of jobs, outsourcing those jobs that were jobs Americans could have and should have had because Bush intends and is successfully reducing middle class workers. Only the dregs of humanity, the feeble-minded, the cowardly the racist would blame the poor guy lower than him on this precarious economic ladder rather than grow up and address the real problems. The borders are going away. It's official. As brought to us by Bush while racists were distracted, we became one Superstate. N.A.F.T.A., as you know, is an economic alliance between Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. Without Congressional over-site, Bush this winter signed into law a political extension of that agreement in which the three nations are now the new North American "Superstate" called SPP. All borders are to be "streamlined" and eventually eliminated, major new toll highways are already planned to connect all three nations (including the big one eight football fields wide right up through the center of the new Superstate that the King of Spain will hold the lease and profits from), a common currency (eventually, not at first) and common citizenship. Mexico gets a big chunk of Kansas to use as a staging area for it's highway construction and maintenance contracts. Most of the roads, bridges, docks and ports that U.S. taxpayers have paid for have been leased out to foreign and domestic "developers" who have leases to turn our roads and such into tollroads. New eminent domain laws, also brought to us by Bush, will allow these developers to take whatever land they want. This is all FACT and is beginning. Any murdering racist who commits vigilante crimes, such as murdering people because they are Mexican (read today's Yahoo news) are the lowest dregs of life on this planet and will be punished to the highest extent of the land. They are not real Americans. They are sickening to this nation. They shame this once and mighty nation of decent people who have the brains to know the difference between right and wrong. How do you think an American feels when he loses his job of 15 years because 18 of those mexicans will pull up in a truck one day, and the government gives the company a tax break if they hire 70% "minorities"?

You don't have to like my answer, but the government really DOES give the companies a tax break for hiring 70% minorities. I live near Hazleton, I've been watching. If a mexican has to jump a fence and avoid being peppered by bullets to get here, then he should take a hint and not come here.

If the conditions in his home country are so deplorable, why doesn't he gather all his illegal friends and family from America, take them back to mexico, and fight for what they want!! America USED to be under jurisdiction of Great Britain. My anscestors fought for what they wanted, and made the US what it is. If mexicans want it too, then fight for it!!!!

I don't know what they think and I don't really care I know what I think and I think if they can't come here legally then shouldn't be here. I do know what the influential people of Mexican descent or Mexicans in power feel because they state the we are invaders and that they encourage Mexican citizens to come here and take over our country by sheer numbers but the people of the US are finally reaching the limit of this issue and I think that these issues will be front and center in the next election but we will see.
