The lack of desire to do anything is definately a sign of depression. You need to go and talk to your doctor about possible treatments for depression and that will bring back your energy level and your motivation to get up and go do stuff.

VICTORIA - ABSOLUTELY.
I just spent $250 bucks yesterday to finally go see a Psychiatrist. I had the EXACT feelings. I kept wondering how I could have "become" lazy when this is normally not like me. It's hard when the rest of the people in your life think you just don't care when you REALLY do!!!!!!!!
I was started on Ambian for sleep and Cymbalta for depression as of yesterday. I won't know how it's working until I give it a few weeks, but I feel like it is promising since I've read a lot about it and my Dr assured me too. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - do this for yourself. Find someone to talk to.
Gosh girl. It kills me to see other people with good intentions saying things that sound so simple like "Make yourself do it..." To people who do not suffer from depression this is an easy task. If you cannot bring yourself to do these things (obviously) because you wouldn't be asking if you were........ Then you need to consider that you suffer from depression.......
My fiance doesn't understand depression either but I did what I had to do. His solution was for me to "Buck up and deal with it." That wasn't working............ This treatment IS.......
Sicere and BEST luck

There is a variety of answers to this question. Long time ago, I had a lot of fatigue, my mother took me to the doctor and they checked my blood. It so happened that I was low in iron, I did not eat enough greens. The doctor prescribed me iron pills and recommended to eat lots of green vegetables. Try to move your body around by doing different types of activities, trust me, it distracts you, and it helped me!

If it is a laziness against your own desires, it could be depression or ADHD.
