The grease is so annoying! How do I get this stupid thing out of my hair? I regret using this stuff now. I tried using anti-residue shampoo by Neutrogena thats supposed to remove 90% residue and it still doesn't work. My hair feels so sticky it's so annoying! I tried dishwash soap and it doesn't work. Will the grease in my hair eventually go away after a few days? Or will it stay in there until I get it out?

Will grease eventually leave the hair after a certain number of days?

It should get out after washing and rewashing, continue using residue/buildup shampoo, go to a beauty supply store and asking them for the best kind, explain what it is and they should help you find the good ones.
Buying from a beauty supply store is where you can get better products, cause they sell to hair salons and other beauticians.

( i have a buildup "gunk" remover type shampoo that i got a SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY, called STRIP SEARCH by BEYOND the ZONE, and another one by the same brand called TRIPPED OUT and it removes chemicals, pollutants in the hair, they both work really good)

ha. it won't. it never does.

i'm just kidding, though sadly i wasn't kidding too much.
this will be a long, hard process. use dishwash soap a couple of times in the shower- lather up and rinse twice. then use head & shoulders 2&1. again, lather up and rinse twice. dishwash soap once more. then you can use that neutrogena shampoo again. now, you can call me crazy for this last step, but this was the golden key for me- use a really good shampoo and conditioner. at the time of my mishap, i used aussie moist shampoo and conditioner, which is for dry hair, and very moisturizing. this should be the end of it.
i had fought this battle for 3 or 4 days in the summer (when the sticky, suffocating feeling on my scalp was extra unwelcome) and these were my steps on the last day. i really hope this works for you. i wish you luck, you'll need it.

it will come out it may take a few days though u can alway try peanut butter i know that sounds weird but it works for gum in my kids hair. so maybe it will help you. if that doesnt work just keep washing ur hair with normal shampoo. i once used wax and a little too much and it took a couple of hours and alot of shampoo but it came out

Put a teaspoon of baking soda in your regular shampoo or to dandruff shampoo, it's really clarifying.

Ok first off what in the world is Murray's Pomade. And if you have never heard of it or it has a funny name don't try it such as nair!

Easiest way (but still takes work):

Take an easily rinsed out oil (Extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil work best). Treat it just like shampoo. Rub it into your hair really really well. This will make the Murray's separate from your hair. DO NOT rinse it out.

Then take dish soap and do the same thing. Work it in like shampoo. Now rinse it out in the shower. If there's any Murray's left in your hair, use a bit more dish soap and you should be fine.

Finally, use a water based pomade instead of a petroleum based one like Murray's. It rinses right out with shampoo.
