No, they just think God will be kinder and more forgiving than many of their fellow believers. And they would be right.

I don't know. But as a child, I knew I can't hide anything from my parents. They seem to know every little thing that I tried to hide. Maybe my parents are God instead. At least they exist.

God is an imaginary concept. There is no such entity.
It is all a lie designed to control rather stupid people several thousand years ago.
When will the modern-day human finally discard the idea? I suspect it will be some time because they are also living in fear. It seems that the concept is so ingrained in some that they cannot think outside of that box, particularly muslims.
Atheism really IS the only logical lifestyle choice for the aware and the civilised.

You're going to get the same old broken record answer - since God doesn't exist,I don't have to worry about it,or something along those lines. But God does see everything everyone does, without exception. Those things thought to be done in secrecy is not as secret as one thinks.

Some people never think that God sees them. Reason being that one cannot see God then some people feels there is no reason to hide. But one can never hide from God cause he made us and sees everything.

If they truly believe in God, deep down they can not believe that. Perhaps they fool themselves into thinking that. Because one can not see one's lungs in everyday life it is easy to assume that smoking isn't that bad. People probably use this same thinking in reference to "hiding" things from God.

Speaking for myself in that I don't believe in the imaginary figure, I don't have to worry about that, but under Christian belief system, a large number either do and don't care, do and feel guilty, or do and live in denial.

If you're speaking to non-believers, they don't care.

If you're speaking to believers of all facets, the opinions can be vast, including my above stated reasons.

Can't hide anything from something that doesn't exist. That would be like hiding gifts from Santa... they'll just stay hidden because he doesn't exist to look for them. :-)

Sure, look how good god is at hiding from us. It is almost like he does not exist.
