All of his supporters there to help him celebrate his "victory". He's doing the right thing and justice has been served - blah, blah blah.

The whole time the US flag is hanging up BACKWARDS behind them.

They were far too kind. Had I been prosecuting, it would have been more than a simple "Conduct UnBecoming An Officer." I'd have gone with Setition, Treason, Mutiny, Missing Troops Movement, UnAuthorized Absence, Dereliction of Duty, just to name a few. He should be made to face the firing squad -- literally. As an officer, he is to be held to a higher standard to which all of the enlisted community can aspire. It's not his job -- and he IS being paid, to question the orders of those appointed over him. If he has doubt, he is to first carry out the last order given and then take it up the chain of command. In that order. Nor is it his place to determine that this war is "Illegal." Yep *sigh*, he should be shot and the DNC should be sent the bill for the rounds expended as well as his legal consel's fee. What a piece of crap.

Yeah, I really got a good laugh when I read about how he didn't really understand the papers he was signing. This guy has the benefit of a college education as well as the disipline the military instills in its officers. I was an army officer many years ago and one of the 1st things they drill into you is to read everything before you sign it and obey all lawful orders given to you.

Watada is an embaressment to the service and to the uniform. I understand he faces a possible 4 year term in prison. Better he goes to prison then Iraq....one one will watch his back if he goes to Iraq.

No I have not seen it. Devoting any amount of attention to him or others of his ilk is an utter waste of time. I already do enough of that here.
