I've had a cyst on the side of my head since I was about 13. It never bothered me up until now. Last night, I backed up into the edge of my bedroom door and accidently hit (very hard, I might add) the cyst dead on. It didn't hurt at the time, but only recently has it started feeling almost itchy and painful. I know I should "go see a doctor." I just want some advice ahead of time. Any information? THANK YOU!!

It could have been infected, and upon hitting it you damaged it letting the bacteria into the blood stream.
