Did Minnie Driver sing for herself in "The Phantom of the Opera"?

No, Margaret Preece was Carlotta's singing voice. Minnie Driver can sing, but she couldn't hit the high notes that Carlotta is expected to sing. That's why the song Learn to Be Lonely (which Minnie sings) was written for the credit's song, because Minnie did want to contribute some song to the film.

No, she did not; however, at the end of the movie when they are rolling the credits, she IS singing that song. For the operatic scenes, the dubbed her with a professional Soprano.
