how do you say mardi gra, new orleans and fat tuesday in spanish? the right way!!

martes gordo = Fat Tuesday. you can either say Mardi Gra or Carnavel en Nueva Orleans (or New Orleans, they'll get it either way)

events and places can just be said, people would get it. for some reason, whenever i mention New York to anyone in Spanish, i say Nueva York. when i say New Jersey, i just say New Jersey.

What is mardi gra? from other answers i can guess its a carnival so you can say CARNAVAL new Orleans = NUEVA ORLEANS fent tuesday= MARTES GORDO but any of this has many sense to a mexican or other latino unless they live in US

carnaval en ( new orleans). martes gordo.
somethings you just cant switch over. you can just say fat tuesday or dia de fiesta party day!
