If you are getting up at 5:30 in the morning and you are busy right up until 5:00 in the evening, that's a good full day and you have every right to be tired after that. And I think it is good for you to wake up at 11:00 the way you say you do, and do something low-key and relaxed, then going back to sleep. New research into human sleep patterns indicates that this is very natural and probably helps your mind to integrate what you learn and experience during the day. Try doing it in low light or without turning on lights if you can.
Not everybody needs 11 or more hours of sleep a day, but in my experience teenageers often need A LOT of sleep. Your body is growing and developing and it knows what is good for it.
As long as you are eating enough and eating well, getting regular physical activity, and you are getting your homework done and keeping your grades up, then I would say you are probably very healthy.
Try not to let anybody get on your case about this. If your friends tease you a little for sleeping a lot that's one thing, but if your parents panic because they think you're not normal or some doctor tries to put you on medication, then you need to tell these people to chill out and don't let their freaky attitudes get to you.
In my experience your need for lots of sleep could potentially continue into your early 20s, or it might change tomorrow. but your sleeping patterns will not always be the same.
You have your whole life ahead of you to observe and understand the uniqueness of your own physiological makeup. Many times it will throw you for a loop, and it may sometimes be very different from what you expect, or from other people around you, but take care of your body and it will take good care of you. It sounds like you probably lead a very full life, don't put pressure on yourself to cram even more into your day. Relax, feel good, enjoy yourself.

WOW
8 hours is not unusual but 10 might be pushing it.
The problem is that you have a sleep disorder.
5pm is way to early, you need a social life or hold uo on the play practice.
Try having a coffee around 3pm or some sort of caffein
You would be better off setting the alarm for 7 pm then eat shower and email. If you hit the sac by 10, you won't have an interupted sleep

i use to do the same thing in highschool track, always wearing myself out. becoming to tired to eat dinner, and napping till i woke up in the middle of the night with nothing to do, but read email and go back to bed. try to eat a meal before taking your next 5pm nap. and force your self somesort of healthy snack when you do wake up at night. also keep your self very hydrated after you workout, odds are you will stay awake longer and gain strength to eat a good meal whether its before or after your nap. skipping that meal is half the reason your so tired.
next thing i suggest is use a alarm clock to either make your naps shorter, or began waking up a bit earlier and working out. sometimes a good morning workout will help you feel better for the rest of the day, which could also make pratice easier.

It sounds like you need to eat before you go to sleep! Then maybe you wouldn't need to go to sleep so early! If all you're having is water then your body probably needs the nutrients and energy you get from food! Eat healthy things and take a multi-vitamin and make sure you're not doing too much!

maybe instead of sleeping for 6 hours you should just take a 1 hour nap instead.

Taking a nap is normal. Lots of people do it. It helps you recover.
