Ok. I have a Dell Inspiron 1501
and i have a JVC camcorder GR-D370U
And a 6-pin 4-pin firewire cable.



I recently purchased a Belkin FireWire Notebook adapter.
I plug it into my laptop, and nothing happens.
I do not know what to do
PLEASE HELP

In order to transfer video, your camera needs to be in VCR mode, and your capturing program (such as windows movie maker) needs to be open and on the capture screen (open movie maker and click capture video). Plug in the adapter, even if nothing happens, connect the cable and try the above and see what happens. Hope this helps!
