Every one else who is single feels pathetic, too. This is the true reason why there are copious amounts of chocolate on sale all over the place. It's not so some guy can give it to you, it's to drown your sorrows.
How do you know you're not his type? Did he tell you that? Go after him anyway.

Realize that the end of the earth isnt come upon you because you are single right now. Its not a permanent state you are in, its just right now. The happiest women are women who can be happy with or without a man. So say to yourself I am single now but I know it will change and go buy some choclates and give it to another person you love..example Mom Or Dad or Sis or little sis or a good friend. Be creative and if you are not the type of this guy and if you are so sure why bother. And how do you really know if you arent his type? I am married to a blond man but if i wasnt I wouldnt say I had a type but when the chemistry is right its right its not so easy to draw guidelines of who I would like its alot more mysterious so dont be so sure of his type.

Let me tell you... even if you had a bf or a husband Valintines day would not be any different. Except you would be expecting something nice and you would be disappointed.
Maybe that guy will one day grow up and you will be his type. In the mean time enjoy the freedom you have to grow yourself anyway you want without any obligation to anyone else. That is a luxury most married woman or gf would love to have.

what you could do is plan the day to love yourself. eat your favorite ice creams, chocolates, hug your teddy bears while watching your fave movies with your fave hunks. and think that you are not the only girl that is single and that the only reason you feel pathetic its because of all the commercial of this holiday that makes people feel like they are losers and unlovable if they dont have a partner. its not that way. so dont fall for it. you are not pathetic. also remember that its not just about loving a guy, its also about loving your family and friends. so long as you have this, you are not alone or pathetic. maybe it'll help you to get thru valentines day with the company of a friend and doing all the activities i mentioned before together. maybe you can make plans to go with a friend who is also single. if you dont have any of those, just think about what i have writen already. you'll be ok. i wish you the best.

What you shouldn't do is, feel pathetic. I'm single and enjoying it. Not that I'm not looking but, sometimes you just have to work with reality and make your life more meaningful. Valentine's isn't just for couples anyways. You can send a card to your Mother, coz of all the people on the surface of this earth she is the one who loves you the most no matter what. Forget about the guy. Instead of celebrating Valentines Day with some guy that doesnt think you're his type, celebrate it with your friends. A lot of people do that, hang out with your best girls and even guys for the day and just have a fun time. Don't let some dumb pathetic guy ruin your day.

Dont feel pathetic. Alot of people, including me, are single right now. Try being friends with the guy. Then, when valentines day roles around, pop the question.

A lot of people are in the same boat, and if you think about it, it is only one day, and it will pass by before you know it.
Valentine's Day is meant for "love", and I am sure you have other people in your life that you love. Family and friends.
V-day is just so commercialize anyway. It is a good day for Florists, Card Stores, and Candy Companies to make some extra dough; and Restaurants to hike up their prices for the night.

Oh, boo, whoo. Why do you think you haaaaaave to have a boy friend just because it is v-day? All it is is another day that man gave label to. If you already have a boy friend, you don't have to celebrate v-day. How old are you anyway? You probably too young for a b-friend anyway. Do your homework or you'll wined up a morron your whole life. Read your king james Bible, go to an Independent, Fundemental Baptiat Church and forget about it. You don't need a boy friend. What does liking a guy, or liking a guy who doesn't like you got to do with Valentines Day? First of all you don't owe anyone anything, and secondly, for Valentines Day the "guy" is supposed to buy his girlfriend something and not the other way around.
It's ok not to have anyone around for Valentines Day, it's no biggie. If you have friends you want to send a card to then do that...thru the mail.
